AKI sells a Machine Vision solution tailored for implementation into an existing production line or bench top test setup.
The AKI Vision Tools program includes the following:
. AKI Vision Tools Software
. User Documentation
. Cognex Frame Grabber board
. Calibration grid (NIST traceable)
Implementation of this system can be as easy as:
1. Insert the frame grabber card into the computer.
2. Load the software onto the computer.
3. Connect a camera and lens.
4. Start the program.
5. Acquire an image of the calibration grid. Press "Calibrate".
6. Acquire an image of the work piece.
7. Begin taking measurements.

- Template matching.
- Circle/Arc Tool (find the center and radius).
- Find an Edge Point.
- Find a Line across an Edge.
- Find Line Perpendicular to another Line.
- Find the Angle between two Lines.
- Find the Intersection of two Lines.
- Find the Distance Between two Points.
- Create a Line from 2 or more Points.
- Create a new Coord Frame (Fixture).
- Map a point from one Fixture to another.
- Project a known Point.
